Notocactus leninghausii. I guess we've just been around too long. The "Notocactus" genus has been burnt into our brains over the years and it's a hard one to abandon. So, even though we more or less accept the change, in our home and around the greenhouses, it's still a Noto!
Named for Guillermo Leninghaus, a Brazilian collector, the Golden Ball branches and become columnar with age.
